Merchandising lecture fills auditorium at Ecommerce Trends 2013

Over 2000 visitors attended the Warsaw National Stadium at the 23th and 24th September. Not due to a to a sports event, but to fifth edition of Poland’s largest fair in online trading: “Ecommerce Trends 2013”. As the name suggests, market innovations and future technology standards were in the foreground. Thereby some well reputed ecommerce experts held workshops and lectures.

The two-day event provided an ideal opportunity for the approximately 130 exhibitors to come into contact with prospects, existing customers and partners. Both representatives of leading companies in the e-commerce industry and research companies presented themselves with an exhibition stand. So did FACT-Finder: We showed to our visitors – mainly shop owners and multi-channel retailers – for example how they can set up on-site campaigns with minimal effort in order to preferentially display trendy items to customers and thus sell more.

Online Merchandising was also the topic of the presentation by Justyna Skorupska, Managing Director at FACT-Finder Poland. Among other things, she explained how shop owners can specifically affect search results using banners, pushed products and advisor campaigns – leading customers better to the result. The audience was mixed and so numerous that not everyone found a seat – especially Webshop owners, retailers and solution providers came.

Both days of the fair were a complete success for the FACT-Finder team – we have made many new contacts. Whether we will visit Ecommerce trends in 2014? We are certain.
