Swedish Distanshandelsdagen 2014 had a strong focus on internationalisation, customer experience and cross channel scenarios.

Sweden’s e-commerce is booming: As an annual average, Internet shoppers spend more than 1000 € each – mostly on books, clothes and home electronics. Meanwhile, the online trading in Sweden generates an annual turnover of over 7 billion euros, with a rising trend.

Merchandising lecture fills auditorium at Ecommerce Trends 2013

Over 2000 visitors attended the Warsaw National Stadium at the 23th and 24th September. Not due to a to a sports event, but to fifth edition of Poland’s largest fair in online trading: “Ecommerce Trends 2013”. As the name suggests, market innovations and future technology standards were in the foreground. Thereby some well reputed ecommerce experts held workshops and lectures.

Recent impressions of the Internet World Munich and the E-Commerce One to One Monaco 2013.

Two high-profile e-commerce events took place this week, the Internet World Exhibition in Munich and the E-Commerce One to One Monaco. Compared with the last year, both events recorded a significant increase of visitors and exhibitors. We were also there: the Internationals from FACT-Finder.

The future of e-commerce was the central topic at the Internet World 2013. FACT-Finder, the entire solution for multi-channel-commerce, came up with the motto “Point of Sale is Everywhere”. During the exhibition visitors could get more insight from our team into new strategies and technologies for multi-channel retailing.

Internet Retailing, Birmingham 2011

The last two days at Internet Retailing were both energising and inspiring. Like a child trapped in cotton candy, or a fanatic entranced by Apple’s mystical glow, we are hungry for more. The eCommerce world is pulsating with invention, insight and a more polished professionalism than ever before. It was a pleasure to stand amidst my fellow eCommerce brethren and brethrettes, to push and redefine the possible. Yes… spring has sprung even over the otherwise rather gloomy Birmingham. It’s safe to say: Internet Retailing has successfully put Birmingham on the eCommerce map. This will be a show to follow closely in the future.
