In a market full of vendors claiming to be the best, this recent analyst report cuts through the noise with rigorous evaluation. We’re proud to be named among the 9 most significant vendors in this category and to have scored among the top 5 in the ‘current offering’ category.

Anyone can say they’re the best. Walk down a street and you’ll likely see a burger joint boasting the “world’s best burger.” Do you believe them? Probably not. What makes you stop and pay attention is when the recognition comes from someone credible, for example a 4.9 star rating with thousands of reviews or a Michelin star.

The same is true in business technology. Vendors can all claim they’re doing great things. What carries weight is when an independent, respected source does a thorough review and confirms your capabilities.

That’s why we’re excited to share that FactFinder has been recognized by Forrester as one of the most significant commerce search and product discovery vendors in their recent report, The Forrester Wave™: Commerce Search And Product Discovery Solutions, Q3 2025.*

We also scored among the top 5 in the ‘current offering’ category. From our perspective, this highlights how we’re delivering real value for customers right now while continuing to innovate.

Who is Forrester?

Forrester is one of the most influential research and advisory firms in the world, advising companies across North America, Europe, and APAC, including 61% of the Fortune 100. Their analysts dig deep, combining extensive market knowledge with rigorous evaluation methods.

Emily Pfeiffer, Principal Analyst at Forrester, authored this report. She is a leading voice in commerce technology, brings hands-on experience as a digital and marketing lead and is known for her clear FIRE vision for technology: flexible, inexpensive, rapid and easy.

How the Forrester Wave works

Forrester only evaluates the most significant vendors in a category. To even be considered for this category’s evaluation, a provider must support all core functions of commerce search and product discovery, reach a revenue threshold and have proven adoption and mindshare among Forrester’s enterprise clients.

From there, the process is rigorous: a detailed questionnaire, 2.5 hours of live demos, a strategy briefing and interviews with customer references. It’s designed to cut through marketing claims and assess real capabilities.

The market landscape

As the report notes, “Most of the market is still using the commerce search functionality embedded in their commerce solution, or even a legacy (and likely highly customized) system such as Endeca. However, modern, standalone solutions like those in this evaluation are gaining visibility. We expect massive first-time adoption of them in the next couple of years.”

From our perspective, this tech has been crucial for decades. But amidst all of these other changes in eCommerce and the expansion of AI, this prediction underscores just how crucial modern, standalone search solutions will become – and we’re ready to help businesses modernize now.

  • Roadmap: Our roadmap is packed with AI innovations. Recent releases include vector search, built on our own offline language model, and data enrichment, all designed to give nontechnical practitioners more powerful tools.
